At NestEd Center for Development, we believe that every individual deserves access to high-quality, thoughtful evaluation services—regardless of their current financial situation.

Our Pay-What-You-Can model exists because, at times in our own lives, others extended support to us when we couldn’t fully afford what we needed. This offering is our way of returning that generosity and ensuring that care remains accessible, respectful, and rooted in trust. No proof of income is required—we trust you to choose honestly. We will send you a recommended price range for your Tier Level and needed areas of assessment.

Areas of Assessment

  • This assessment measures one’s thinking and problem-solving abilities, including skills like memory, attention, reasoning, and processing speed. It identifies strengths and areas of difficulty, offering insights into how a child learns and processes information.

  • Used to identify and determine any social emotional needs that may be creating additional stress and to rule out 'false positive' of other diagnoses.

  • This assessment evaluates skills in reading, writing, math, and academic fluency to identify strengths and challenges. It helps pinpoint learning differences like dyslexia or dyscalculia and examines how factors like attention and memory impact learning. Results include tailored recommendations for classroom supports and interventions to enhance academic success.

  • Measure self-help and independence skills for a variety of areas of need including communication, health and safety, social skills and more. Often required for disability services, including autism.

  • This evaluation uses gold-standard tools like the ADOS-2 to assess social communication, behavior, and sensory processing. It provides a comprehensive understanding of how autism impacts daily life, guiding accurate diagnoses and personalized intervention strategies.

  • Our sensory processing assessment evaluates how a person perceives, processes, and responds to sensory information from their environment. This includes input from the senses such as touch, sound, sight, movement, and body awareness. We also evaluate fine and gross motor to better understand “small” and “big” muscle movements.

  • Our social pragmatic communication assessment evaluates a child's ability to use language effectively in social contexts. This includes understanding and using nonverbal communication, interpreting social cues, engaging in reciprocal conversations, and adapting communication to different settings and audiences.

  • This assessment, completed by a Speech Language Pathologist, examines a child's ability to both understand and use language effectively.

  • Used to learn more about short term and long term memory in different domains, such as meaningful vs. abstract and auditory vs. visual; particularly useful for those who seem forgetful and to narrow down fastest learning style.

  • An in-depth examination of the most common areas of cognitive, emotional and behavioral challenges. Includes assessment of shifting, planning, organization, and other executive functioning skills; includes assessing types of attention (i.e. sustained, divided).
